I am helping a friend who has a 1985 70 Evinrude Model #CE70TLCOS. He installed a new oms pump kit after the first pump burnt up, now this pump has burnt out the alarm circuit, he caught it before it totally destroyed this pump. What could cause this? Could reverse polarity do it? I've checked...
