    Just pulled plunger and housing for primer apart. Cleaned both fitting nipples. Some crap in smaller one. Was missing o ring on shaft behind plunger handle. Put one back. Ran to the river quick. Ran same. Did notice it would wind up more when I held the plunger out just a crack. Any ideas with...

    You’re right. It’s a hose fitting/jet. I pulled it out and cleaned it out when I was doing carb

    Going to see if I can pull the priming plunger out of housing today. Any tips on not breaking it?

    Cleaned with carb detail brush and then replaced with carb kit part. No improvement. (This was done 2-3 attempts ago)

    Can I just jump the primer? Put a coupling nipple between lead and send pines?

    Good compression. Did the carb rebuild kit. Yea it has a primer. That can cause rich at high speed?

    New plugs new coils still only running half speed. Seems to sputter when throttled all the way. Too much fuel in mix?

    Yeah. Just did a running spark check. Ran on one plug not the other. So was getting tricked by a bad spark. Followed it back to what seems to be a bad coil.

    Did cam follower pickup and throttle control adjustment. Don’t have a timing light though. Saw a post here that they’ll run on one cylinder so checked spark and is ok on both plugs.     Dumb question. In part 2 of cam follower pickup it references throttle control lever. Is it talking about the grip throttle or the thing under the throttle control rod on the side?

    That was mid carb removal. Clip is missing yes.
