Any body had any luck having a crack in a trim cylinder welded up?
I was rushing moving my boat around the yard and backed it up and dug the foot into the ground, next thing I know I've got a 6 inch crack running down the cylinder.
Checking online I'm seeing this cylinder for $375-$500...
This year in my rush to get the boat in the water I forgot to put the battery back in and raise the motor before I pulled it out of the spot I had it stored. My tires had gone flat on the trailer over the winter so when I pulled it out I ended up dragging the foot over a mound, probably hit it...
