From what I can find so far, I believe this is a wood free hull, possibly VEC, but I can't verify. Does anyone know for sure? I don't want to buy a boat where the deck, transom, or stringers have wood that can rot out.

I have a chance to buy a older fg boat in decent shape that comes with a 65 hp merc outboard. The guy says it'll turn over and run but won't hold at idle. Says it just needs a tune up.
The price of this boat is quite low compared to others around my area. Comes with a good trailer too...
