Anyone using Boyesen reeds in a 9.9-15 Evinrude/Johnson? If so, how reliable are they, and how long do they last? I am in the process of rebuilding my l5 and considering using these. I only use the motor for fishing low to mid range speed, sometimes wide open but only for a few minutes...
Have a 2000 Johnson 9.9 that the dirt dabbers built a nest in the carburetor, tore engine down cleaned everything, new car kit, now engine will run fine but will not idle. Any suggestions?
