I am installing a radar reflector and radio antenna on the roof of my 17 1/2 ft open boat; I understand both need to be a high as possible.
How do I position each to maximize effectiveness of each while not interfering with receiving/transmission of radio?
The antenna is a 3 gain.

Now that I have the whole transom assembly off and on a bench I have gotten the old bellows off, will do the gimbal bearing but would like to replace the gimbal pins while I am at it.
Is there a trick to getting the cotter pin out and removing the bottom pin...
I bought a boat with a 3 liter GM engine. The bell and gimbel housing along with the tilt cylinders are all there I just need an outdrive.
Using the serial numbers off these sections how do I determine which outdrive I need?
