    1982 70hp mariner:

    Changed out the impeller put everything back together went smoothly until we started the motor the propeller started to spin at about half speed like the motor was engaged to go forward you could speed it up by moving the throttle forward. I do not have a nuetral or reverse what did we do wrong...

    This might be a silly question . when I was changing the impeller for the first time the key fell out were does it go back in at. Thanks Mike
