    lower unit help

    Tried to replace the impeller on an 1972 lightwin 4 hp and when I was taking off the impeller the whole drive shaft came off from the lower uni. I tried sticking it back in but its not willing to go in all the way. please help

    Spark plug question

    Just tried out a spark plug test and the spark is about 3/8 distance does that mean I don't have to check points and the other ignition systems?

    I have been having troubles cold starting it. Its takes me between 15 to 30 min trying to start it but as a soon as I can get it started I can turn it off and start it in one pull. so far I have replaced the spark plugs and ran a little sea foam though it.
