    motor runs fine most of the time but sometimes it completely cuts out for a second or two. happens more during wot and with more people on the boat. it never dies just cuts out real quick and then keeps going. pretty sure its not fuel related, acts like ignition. anyone else ever have this...

    runs good, idles good, has good compression 150 psi but seems to use a lot of fuel. is this common for these? its on a 24 foot pontoon.

    I recently bought this motor and put it on my pontoon and it runs great. was reading about it and seen that it has an electric primer system? does this mean I don't need a manual primer bulb? if no how does the electric primer work?

    buying advice please

    thinking about buying a 1979 evinrude 115hp for my pontoon. its a 3 hour drive to get the motor so I asked him to do a compression check so he did and heres the numbers, 125 125 125 110. think it would be ok or should I pass?

    1988 dt150 wont go

    1988 dt150 wont go after putting in gear, usually dies. runs/revs fine out of gear. idles a little low and rough. has good compression on all cyl's, new plugs, new fuel filter. its on a 24 foot pontoon. any help would be appreciated. thx
