    How long should a marina charge for a power trim unit change, 2005 Mercury 40hp

    My local marina says it takes 4 hours to change a 2005 Mercury 40hp power trim unit. Seems excessive. Does that sound right?

    I have a 15hp Johnston 2 stroke and the lockout link keeps coming out and not aligning properly. I know it is bent (kids). Can (how do I remove it to straighten or replace it? Thanks
