Every time I hit the key she fires and the starter disengages but it only fires 1 time then I have to turn the key again. Good spark on the plugs and fresh gas in the tank. Timing issue???

I put on a new distributor and for got to hook the wire from the coil to the distributor when i hit the key thats all she wrote i get nothing now when i hit the key and jumping the start turns the motor over but no spark. How bad is it? i dont see any fuses anywhere.
