I have a 1991 Wellcraft Eclipse 253 with a Merc 5.7 engine carbonated engine, this past spring I had a new engine installed. The boat will not plane out and it only gets up to 2500 RPM. I currently have a Solas 17 pitch prop on the boat. I am not sure if the Marina who installed the engine did...
