i just bought a boat (1970 larson 18') and the motor it came with is apparently a early to late 60's 80 horse evinrude. it has the electric shift and it appears to be a short shaft.
when i bought it, (it runs well) apparently the lower unit was messed, i took it out and took it to a boat shop...
