    My wife graduated college yesterday

There were 800 students graduating that day. Plus all the guests. I'd say maybe 3,000 folks there. Oh! I forgot to mention that she has a Bachelor's degree now. She's already talking about going for her Masters, but I reminded of her uhhhmmm... age!

    My wife graduated college yesterday

Here's hoping! 🤞 But yeah, her upper bosses have been actively recruiting her to move to their charter school. :giggle:

    My wife graduated college yesterday

    Thanks guys. She's 53 and it's a major accomplishment for her. 👩‍🎓

    My wife graduated college yesterday

She already had a bunch of credits from when she lived in the Philippines. Even so, it took her 2 years of hard work to complete her degree in Early Childhood Education. She's already a teacher, but the degree will boost her up quite a bit and allow her to teach in any K-5 school once she gets...

    GPS Speedo

I have a Faria Platinum GPS Speedo. Works great. I tested it by connecting a small 12v battery to it, put on my truck dash and drove it down the road. Accurate! And it has a built in antenna, so none of that mounting it somewhere else stuff.

    Artificial Intelligence

Here's an example of what the AI did for me this evening. I'll be adding a delay circuit to my Water Pressure Loss warning setup for my Merc 150 XR6. Helpful! 🛠️ The 555 Timer Pin-by-Pin Soldering Guide Before starting, map out the NE555 chip. The notch or dot on the top of the chip...

    Artificial Intelligence

I use Artificial Intelligence ALL. THE. TIME! My wife says it's my "new best buddy." If I'm doing something important, I'll direct it to use scholarly sources only and that way it avoids Reddit, TikTok and other social media, but instead starts using Mayo Clinic, NIH, Cleveland Clinic...

Good point about the muffs. I'll be sure to use a barrel for testing.

    I. Don't. Know. 🤷‍♂️ If it were possible, would that give me enough "off" time for the siren while waiting for the engine to pull and circulate enough water to turn it off normally?

My bud ran a little late but made it this morning and we got the trim/tilt gauge calibrated. Yay! 😁(y) I'm "guessing" that the fuel sender is okay. When I turn the key on, it jumps to 1/2 full, which should be close. When we splashed it a year ago, I added 10 gallons to the tank, which...

I love the smell of sealcoat in the morning

Yeah, I really should have done the sealcoat two years after asphalt installation. I'm glad I finally got it done, late or not. I was thinking that this would be a good project to put on a subscription service. Pay a little every month and after 18 months or so, receive a notification to...

Check out Faststone Resizer. It's super easy to use, a bazillion pix can be loaded simultaneously, it's very fast and gives you a wide choice of sizes to downsize pix. I use it all the time. https://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDownload.htm

I love the smell of sealcoat in the morning

I got my driveway paved in August 2021. And finally got it seal coated all these years later. I'd actually planned on "doing it myself" with the help of the boy, but after calculating the material and tool costs, plus what I'd have to pay helpers, it was actually a little cheaper to...

My buddy got back to me and I took the mower over to his place. He put the deck belt back into place while I was sitting there talking with him. Didn't even know he'd completed the job. I got the grass cut just fine after that. My friend used to do a lot of property cleanup jobs for folks and...
