    Bizare problem with 25 Merc

    motor runs fine is fresh water. In salt water starts great, trolls fine. when I open the throttle will only go quarter speed.

    Mercury 25 delayed acceleration

    starts and idles fine. when excellerates goes half speed for several minutes, sputters and then full speed. after trolling same problem
