    Replaced ignition switch. Now NO power.

    Now, I've got no power. The horn won't even work. Do I have to put everything back together before I try and start it?

    OK folks, I'm new to boat engine repair. I took the lower end off to look and learn. I took the shifting rod out. Now I have no clue how to get it back. The end of the rod swivels with a 45 degree male notch that is supposed to mate with a swiveled deal on the end of the prop shaft...at a 45...
