1972 100hp the outboard stays in forward. I found that the switch in the control box is broken. Im told these are hard to come by? Can you use a regular three way toggle and if so what wire is common? I have a blue. purple and green. Does any one know where to get an original?
I have a 1972 Johnson 100 hp that runs great but will not shift in to reverse and has no tilt and trim. I have a 1981 evinrude that has a siezed power head, but tilt and trim works great and is also on a newer boat. I want to know if i can put the 72 power head on the 81 motor.
