my 40hp merc with power trim will not release when running down the lake and when i hit a log it about kills me, the motor is a 2002 and i am wondering if it is supposed to kick up or not before i tear into it any more, i just cant see how it can kick up with the power trim connected. Any help...
i have a 2002 40hp merc with power trim and when i hit a log or rock my motor will not kick up it is always locked down anyone have any advice on how to fix it? Thanks
