I am looking for the original 1988 3.0 omc service repair manuals and will pay for them. I have the SELOC book and a multi year OMC book, I'm looking for the original service manuals.
Need to know the torque on tightening down lifters please. Trying to get done today, any help is appreciated.

Does anyone in the charleston s.c. Area no of a mechanic that can work on these older boats? I found a couple places to get parts, so thats not a problem. I've spoken with a couple mechanics but looking for another opinion.
I had a some water in the engine, buts it's only seen fresh water...
The original sticker is long gone from the valve cover so I cannot find the serial number. Is there any other way of identifying the engine so I can get parts. The Engine block is stamped with OMC, GM and made in Mexico I think.... The only numbers I have been able to find are on a raised plate...
