    that's exactly where i'm at, water leaked thru intake manifold,got CyL 1,3,5 locked :( all the rest is absolutely fine but rebuild is not my 1st choice, so basically looking for a short or long block & put the rest of my parts on it

    casting numbers made for marine use by Gm are intrace-able! and you will not find a good cross-reference for aftermarket nor automotive part number although lots of the parts are literally the same. for example Oil pump for Merc is 340$ vs the exact same with the same patent number 34$ from...
