    Prop Pitch vs. Diameter

    I have an old OMC 800 outdrive on my 23 foot Lancer and am currently running a 15 by 17 inch prop which seems perfed tor the poat Chevy 350 ).I now have a chnce to buy a stainless prop with a pitch of 21 inches and diamerer of 131/4 inches. Are they close enough to take a chance performanewice?

    OMC 800 Outdrive Locks in the Down position

    Spark Pllugs for Chevy 350

    OMC recommends AC T43MR plugs. But this goes back many years.Does anyone know of higher performance plugs, i.e. more revs ,smoother idling? Platinum? Just put in some new Autolite equivilents and RPMs dropped by 200.<br /><br /> :( Robert

    OMC 800 outdrive worm gear removal

    I cannot remove the worm gear assembly by lifting the outdrive.It problably is held by corrosion preventing the retainer and bushing from sliding out .I am trying to replace a broken worm gear drive shaft and am concerned about inadvertently damaging the intermediate housing.How might this be...
