    i could only get the fixed jet from mercury, the low speed jet is NLA; i put the fixed jet in today and runs fine now,it puzzles hoe a jet can wear out, it looked just like the new one. i still would like to fine a new low jet, this part #is from merc (83888M), i think my motor ID is 676B...

    1980's mariner carb need low spd. jet

    me again, i'm following walt's advice on the carb jets. i don't need the whole carb kit,only the jets. i got the high speed(fixed jet from mariner, but they don't have the low speed jet.??????? can anyone help mw, or do i have to buy the whole kit?

    40hp mariner 676b 411306 carb problems (1980's)

    My mariner is giving me fits, it's on a pontoon and runs fine on low speed, but when I nail it it blubbers and misses. Most of the it will clean out then run fine to full throttle. I have had the carb cleaned twice. It ran better with the air box off, and a little better yet with the cowling...
