    i have bought an old 2 cylinder outboard, the tag on the pivot plate reads :<br />western auto supply co. model wn7 serial 847047.<br />can anyone help id this motor? it came with an old lone star 14 ft metal boat.

    my stupid is showing, need help id'n props

    i have 2 stainless props that fit the shaft on my seahorse 70 but am not sure of pitch, tryed comparing to known 14x19 but cant figure it out . one is stamped in the rear 30713, there is a 7 by it self, the other has 3841, can anyone help? thanks in advance :confused:

    timing 77 seahorse 70?

    manual ordered, but not here yet . what is base idle timing suposed to be?. wot is listed at 17 degrees. all throttle linkage synched, but doesnt want to idle at 5 degrees . compression 1:120, 2:120, 3: 117. good spark, carbs freshly cleaned . possable reed problem? the 2 lower carbs are...

    77 johnson seahorse nuetal saftey switch adjustment

    does the switch need to be adjusted to the cam on the control handle or merely be bottomed out , "local outboard specialist" just bottomed out the switch it starts but will it possibly engage when in gear? the rig is still at his yard , havent had a chance to check it myselfbut dont want to tear...
