I have a 1979 40hp mercury that came off a bass tracker that has a steering wheel. I am putting this motor on a flat bottom boat without a steering column. I was wondering if there is a way to switch the motor to a tiller handle.
I have a 1979 40 hp mercury that was taken off a bass tracker that had a steering wheel. I have a boat that I would like to put this motor on but would like to change to a tiller handle. Is this possible and if so how and how much money am I looking to spend?
