Could a sticky or faulty IAC valve be a potential reason for my 2008 Mercury 50hp outboard (2 stroke) stalling when in idle? The outboard performs fine when driving.
Howdy...I recently bought a used 2008 Suntracker 19' pontoon boat with a 2008 Mercury 50hp. The outboard runs fine at steady cruising speeds. However when taking the motor back to idle, it stalls. It does restart very easy when I put it in neutral and push the throttle forward a little.
