I have a 1968 Sea Ray SRV 185 with a Mercruiser 120. I removed the thermostat for winterizing, and like a bone head, don't remember the correct position. My memory, and being a automotive mechanic all my life, I think it was installed backwards to how cars and trucks are. Top facing down.
