I checked the oil in the lower unit and it was black with some water in it. When runnining in the bucket I swear I am hearing metal on metal while in nuetral. Any thoughts? What seals or gaskets should I replace? Impeller seems to be working fine, should I do it with any seals? Thanks to...
Thanks to you guys we are making progress with this oldie but goodie. New fuel tank ,line and primer bulb fixed the last problem. Now she starts and runs continuosly but is missing or popping, I suspected fuel still so with a cleaner conditioner in the fuel the problem decreased greatly...
Just got her running today with fresh plugs and a new fuel pump cover (it was leaking when you pumped the primer bulb) started right up but would quit after 1 min, I discovered the primer bulb seemed to empty out, when pumped every 30 sec or so the motor kept running. Is this a venting thing...
