I am having a little bit of a problem reinstalling stern drive. Once installed all is well except I cannot get shift cable move more than 1/4 inch either way. When I take the drive off the cable is fine. Am I missing something with the shift slide as I reinstall outdrive. That is the part...
Just finished putting in the new engine. Got it aligned, so ready to put on drive. engine is sitting evenly on mounts. One question. The engine is a little bit off side to side when I measure. Is there some allowance that is built in for torque? Or what would be the allowable tolerance?

Hi, Does it make a difference if the remote oil filter is mounted upward as opposed to downward? Would that have an effect on oil pressure?
