I'm sure that this question was answered before, but..what's the correct oil/gas ratio for a Merc 3.6 HP 1982 vintage?
In it's time it was 20 or 25:1 , can I assume 50:1 with the modern oils ???

I have a little used Mercury 3.6 (1982 vintage).
It runs well but makes an oily mess over the water.
I discovered that there's a fitting in the crankcase with a plastic tubing hanging.
I can't find where it must be connected.
Of course, there is a pulsating pressure out of the fitting...
