Is replacing a tilt/trim motor and pump assembly a do it yourself type project or is it more difficult than what it appears? Also, how do you bleed the hydraulic system upon reassembly? Thanks for your help
We have a 4.3L Mercruiser. We put a rebuilt prop on it and it was running fine until I got to a corner to turn and the motor reved up and would not go. I pulled back on the throttle to idle and started to go again and it slipped out again. If I slowly brought it up to speed, it worked fine...
I am looking for some advice on what to do about a poor idling engine. The engine starts and runs great. Even at low speeds the engine does fine, but as soon as I put it in neutral, it will not run for more than 10 seconds without stalling. Thanks for your help
