    had to sand new float ..so it would work properly

    I just installed a new carb kit and float in my 1962 18hp johnson and after i put it back together it would not take in the fuel when i compared the new float to the old cork one it was about a 16th of a inch to thick i sanded it down and now it is working good i have never had to do this...

    1962 18 hp johnson can not find new fuel pump , will another year work ?

    Greetings ... this is my first post to the forum and i am hopping some one can steer me in the right direction .. i have spent 3 hours on line looking for a fuel pump kit or new fuel pump for my 1962 18 hp fd 16A motor and can not find one ,so does any one know if another year or horse power...

    76 omc 120 will not start please help

    i hit a big wave came down hard boat will not start now ...it sounds like it wants to start on less then all 4 cyls....:confused:the spark is not blue now reset points new condenser still will not start...will try new coil ..any other ideas please let me know thanks.
