I have a 2000 df 70 with only a few hundred hours on it. My battery accepts a charge, but when the motor is running, my volt-meter only reads approx. 12v. My other motor generates almost 14.5 when running.

I just got my df 70's running after sitting for about 6 years. Long proccess, mostly fuel issues. Two test runs into it all seems well. I've recently done research and found the operating range is 5000 - 6000 rpm. Seems high. Is this right? Also, I've seen comparison charts...
