i have an 84 18 fisherman with a 92 evinrude 115 on the back

a bearing went bad deep in my lower unit last weekend and i found a used lower unit off of an 87 evinrude 90 but the guy doesn't know the model number.
if this lower unit will work on my outboard it would be...
In the process of rewiring an 18 ft center console 1984 wellcraft 18 fisherman. Has a 1992 evinrude 115 oil injected outboard. There is a momentary toggle switch on the console labeled from the factory as "fuel".
Anybody own one of these boats or know what this switch is supposed to do...
