    85 hp us marine won't stay running

    So my 85 HP us marine motor won't stay running. Cleaned everything, fresh fuel and oil, battery charged. It fires but doesn't idle very long and dies. I have done about all I can. Any suggestions before I take it to a Mechanic

    Can I use 87 octane with 10% ethanol or do i need reg 85 for my 85 HP us marine motor. I have to mix oil with it. thanks

    battery issues

    I have a 85 HP force and when I hook up the battery I can lift and lower the motor. If I leave it connected it won't start when I get to the lake. If I then disconnect and reconnect it will usually start then. Can cruise lake and jump in and when I try to start it same problem. Do I just need...
