V-berth, purchased a 3" memory foam from Wallmart.
I removed all the carpet and fitted a 3/4" plywood to extend the platform to the edge of the seat base. This also provide extra storage.
Added supports on each side that sits directly over the super structure so that there is access to storage below.

New V-berth completed. Table was also cut down to allow better access to seating.
