Installed new Richie compass. High density foam is almost the same thickness as the compass mount.
Trimmed. Much nicer on the feet and looks way better.

Added SS hinges to keep seat in place and make it easier for access.
I cut the plywood in half before recovering. Don't have to remove the whole bench now to get access to storage.
