Using finnished 1x3 to frame the support.
I removed all the carpet and fitted a 3/4" plywood to extend the platform to the edge of the seat base. This also provide extra storage.

V-berth, purchased a 3" memory foam from Wallmart.
V-berth Trim installed, glue with SS screws and foam cut. The foam takes several days to expand to full size after pulling it out of the small box it
