Wards Sea King 7.5 Year & Parts

Model CED 50577A, S/N 18X-112137, that is missing any/all spark ignition parts. I need the year and a possible source of parts and assembly diagrams. I can't remember whether these Wards motors were one of the Gale Products or which brands, if any, had equivalent parts.<br /><br />This is one of eight o.b. motors that I've found so far in my cluttered garage and desparately need to get some onto boats... Thanks for any help.

That is an 81 model. Pretty sure that's a Chrysler motor. www.twincityoutboards.com is a reliable source although a bit pricey. You may find some parts right here on iboats too.

I'm looking for someone to buy parts from, also. A friend has a 1980 Monkey Wards 7.5 hp Sea King, Model CED 50577A, serial no. 18X113242, that he bought from me better than 10 years ago. It was an Eska motor with a Tecumsah carburetor. I used to buy parts from Monkey Wards, but they're gone. Anyone know who has parts for an Eska, in addition to Twin City Outboards?

I think I answered my own question. Looked at previous posts about Eskas and found a few more potential parts suppliers to check out. Certified Parts Corporation in Janesville, Wis., and Brix Enterprise in Brook Park, Mn., in addition to Twin City Outboards.
