Cylinder Head Bolt Torques 1991 Merc 75

Hi,<br /><br />Does anyone know what the torque specs are for the cylinder head bolts and also the cyclinder head side cover on a 1991 Mercury 75 outboard?<br /><br />many thanks,<br /><br />Alex

I'm guessing only around 25-30 ish ft lbs since they are only 8mm bolts into an alloy head?

You don't have a cylinder head on the smaller Merc's. It's a water jacket cover) and referred to as a "Cylinder Head Cover" Torque for the 75 for '97 up 3 cyl is 18 ft-lbs. Assume yours is the same. No reason to change.
