Hi there Folks. How do I know if I can connect my batt. to my Merc. I had a chrysler and I connected the wires from the battery to some terminals on the side of the flywheel (a small black box)Thanx for any response. Sinbad
Those were available with electric start, but I've seen very few. Pop off the cowl and see if you have a starter motor. If it isn't electric start, you don't connect it to a battery.
Hi there Willy, sorry I was'nt clear but I am wanting to charge my battery for my navigation lights. On my Chrysler I connected the battery directly to some terminals next to the flywheel which charged the battery whilst motoring. Excuse my ignorance! Sinbad
