I bought a 1972 110 this past winter, good condition, ran fine in a tub before I bought it, took it home replaced plugs, lower unit oil, and impeller, took it out and runs good till I get to about half to 3/4 throddle than it starts to bogg down. I have a small lightweight 14 foot boat and it wont even come close to getting it on plane, Iam guessing it moves out at about 6 to 8 miles an hour, carb problem?? anyone clue me in? how hard is it to rebuild a carb?

Hi,<br />If it has spark on both cyl then I would say your fuel pump is the problem put in a new diaaphram kit. When you run it you can pump the primer bulb to act like a manual fuel pump If motor runs then, the pump is bad.
