Delete oil injection on EFI Merc? ODDD1 or anyone

I posted previously about my 1995 Merc 200 EFI and the oil injection system warning buzzer going off. Well, I took it to my mechanic and he did compression tests on all 6 cyl and got 125 psi across the board. So probably no major engine damage. I need some opinions on deleting the oil inj. sys on an EFI motor. Can this be done and what effect does it have on perfomance on this model engine. I have heard that the EFI models don't tolerate oil inj deletion well. Any opinions appreciated

I don't have an answer, but I am interested in the same question for a 1988 susuki 115. I would like to eliminate the oil injection and by pass the 3 oil sensors. Anybody have any comments?

I don't think that this is a good idea. Since the motor was designed for oil injection, as it was explained to me, some run at different ratio's at different speeds, but I can't validate this. I have an oil injected merc 115, and I used to have a 90 force that I had to mix. I save so much money on oil now. I would just rebuild the pump for precaution, you will get your money back in oil prices. The buzzer did it's job, so I wouldn't really worry so much.
