Mercruiser Alpha One Stern Drive-lube

What type of lubricant should be used for a Mercruiser Alpha One Stern Drive (lower unit I suppose) And, how do you add/check lubricant?

use merc lower unit lube. put it in the bottom screw till it comes out of the top one. put top plug in then take the grease tube out of the bottom and put in the bottom plug.<br /><br />corm
