got a 1987 60hp vro outboard. worked last year when stored.this year it will not start. there's no spark on any plug.the plugs tested ok on continunity. is there a way to check coils with a volt meter. or any suggestions as to what may be wrong?
the lanyard was broken, and I did not see it so i took it off and pushed the button in and the engine started up the first time. thanks for the advice.
I'm having the same problem. My evinrude won't start I just posted, But I came across this post. Whats the lanyard? Perhaps thats my problem..<br /><br />Thx
