Welcome!!

For starters (no pun intended) lets check compression and then if thats OK lets get the right plugs in there. Use the Champion QL78YC or the QL77JC4's.

You said you changed a lot of ignition parts but never mentioned if you have a good strong spark or not. Since it does start & run for a short time we assume it does.

Almost sounds like the carbs are dirty. Have they been cleaned (soaked) and had new kits installed?

And just to avoid confusion down the road -- that motor didnt come with a VRO (Variable Ratio Oiling) pump, it's an OMS pump (pumps a relatively steady 50:1 all the time - will vary slightly). Just make sure someone didnt put a VRO pump on it. It'll still run but it may cause confusion later.

Are you priming it enough and when it start, do you try the primer again just before it die again?

Thank you... in my evinrude service manual the pump N°435555 is called "VRO" pump(new and old pump) , by the way i´m waiting for the Champion QL77JC4 spark plugs to do the test.

Re: Evinrude 150 HP HELP HELP

When i started with the engine the first problem was "no spark on any cilynder" for that reason, (reading the service manual), i change the Power Pack, the last reason was change the sparks, localy i found a standard NGK 2 cycle spark with the mentioned results.
I have to do the compression test but i think the engine was good because the last year used was 1999 with any problem on it. I will try to clean the carbs to after the Champion spark test.
Question? in the service manual they advise problems ussing non-suppression spark plugs, is the power pack detecting the wrong NGK´s and it´s die?
Espero respuestas en español tambien!!!
