prop hub

1977 25hp johnson 25R77S. Got my hands on a prop that I can use as a spare. Same prop I have on the motor now, but hub is different (smooth vs splined). Can I change this hub, and if so how is this done? Many thanks. Pic for reference.<br />

IBN,<br />Thats almost an hour drive for me, but if thats what I'll have to do, I guess I can stop in the next time I have to go to town. I don't think I could describe what I needed accurately enough over the phone for him to help me. Thanks for the help.

Rehubbing is not something for the driveway wrench as it requires a bunch of "special stuff."
