Is there any way to shave a block for straightness? I have a crossflow V6

There is a way but you better not cut much. How much are you going to cut?

prolly a few thousandths. It appears to be slightly warped from a blown head gasket at the bottom

3 or 4, it appears to have just a slight warpage

You mean .003 - .004? As long as its never been cut before that will be fine. Once you start putting it all back together you can check to see if the pistons are going to hit the heads.

Thats the plan, just wont sure how to do it.

When the motors apart a machine shop will jig it up in either a broach or a mill. Once its centered, level and even to the crank centerline they'll cut it. Just make sure you clean it really good before reassembly.
