zincs

Have '75 johnson 50hp. somebody asked me if i used zincs on it for corrosion. Never even thought about it before. Did they use them pn 1975's? Do i need one, and if so, where do i attach it?<br />Thanks

If you don't use it in salt water it doesn't matter, medic.<br /><br />If you do, you need zincs. Check with a JohnnyRude dealer.

It's a salt water only engine. I've had it for two seasons. My Westmarine catalogue has many Johnson zincs, I'm just completely in the dark about where they attach. i looked at the motor today, and don't see where one would go. Any hints?
