CUTS OUT

I have a 1986 50hp evinrude. Runs well at idle speed but cuts out when increasing throttle.

Hey Candle Man....welcome to iboats.<br /><br />When it's cutting out, is it a miss as you increase speed or does it just stop? <br /><br />When you get to WOT (wide open throttle), does the miss go away or does it stay?<br /><br />When was the last tune up, including spark plugs?

Kids Boat, Unsure, just bought used, no history, no manual, need a starting place. Sorry for lack of info but this is all I have. thx

you need a manual, they sell here at iboats for 27 bucks. bect 27 bucks youll ever spend... otherwise we folks need a BIT more info from ya
