Can anyone tell whats the best spark plug for 73 <br />3 cylinder Johnson? Please Thanks much

Welcome to Iboats, eglass!<br /><br />If that's a 65hp triumph you have there, a Champion L77JC4 or UL77V. I belive the L77JC4 is prefered esp. for trolling. The UL77V is the permagap plug. Gap for L77JC4 is 0.030"<br /><br />As oregonducker says, a model number or hp would be helpful... :rolleyes:

My model and serial #'s are 65ESL-73R ser# is J3841038, Thank you much for your help.

That would be a '73 65hp triumph then!<br />Champion L77JC4 Gapped at 0.030

Thank you very much for your time.This is the biggest motor I've ever owned. Is it a good one ? It's real clean.{cherry}.

It's been around 30 years; it must be good! :) <br /><br />Seriously, with old engines, it's not whether they were good or bad when they were born, it's how they've been treated since. Sounds to me like you've got a good one there, since clean usually means well mantained.
